In 2018, Pam and Grant McDonough bought the 1962 Koenig House. Tucked away on a lovely west side street with other modern houses, it was one of the last “original owner” Rudy Hermes designed homes. Boasting unmistakable original Hermes features, including tongue and groove ceilings, skylights, clerestory windows and more, this post + beam home was hard to resist. With this opportunity, came a lot of responsibility; Pam and Grant have taken care to respectfully restore and update this Cincinnati gem.

Join us Saturday, April 18 for a coffee chat and hear how they’ve lovingly tackled all sorts of challenges – including repairing the primary bath plumbing without ripping out the original tile!
