We hope you can join us for a very special Coffee Chat at the new (to them) home of cf3 members Melissa & Jason Mogle. After searching for years for their first MCM home, they fell in love with this 1960 Rudy Hermes designed bi level in this exclusive Hermes designed enclave on Cincinnati’s west side. The Mogle’s welcome cf3 members to make design recommendations on how to move forward and make this their dream home. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home has the original restored kitchen cabinets, remodeled baths, and a striking vaulted wood ceiling throughout. Perhaps the most unusual feature of the home is the two story garage connected to the house by a breezeway. The original owner, sign maker Charles Lemon, used the upstairs of the garage as his studio. Lemon was famous for his hand painted signs seen throughout the city.

From the original owner’s daughter, Barbara Lemon Telescan: My dad took this of my mom, my brother, Bill and me in front of the house. The other photo is of a Teem sign. Dad would create patterns in his art studio over the garage for his signs. One of his Teem signs was in Crosley Field. The background was too bright so the players couldn't see with the sun reflecting off it creating a glare. They asked my dad to redo the background to a darker color. Dad had to scramble to get a "team" together to quickly paint the background before the next game.
