Hi everyone - here are the meeting minutes.

March meeting minutes reviewed
Janet reported on the FLW Conference Kick-off Event at Boswell House and discussed volunteer opportunities for the September event. Ideally, volunteers will sign up for an entire day and follow all activities throughout the day. Orientation/training will be in July/August at the Netherland Hotel. Janet will request a sign up sheet from Marta and email to all paid cf3 members.
The group discussed and tentatively planned summer/fall events: cf3 banners will be in the Cincinnati Public Library Downtown Branch in July, targeted for the Anderson Center in August and targeted for the UK School of Architecture in September Chuck will be recording the oral history of the Boulter House with Bruce Goetzman & Ken Hughes on 02 June, with the intent of creating a 30 minute video to air on cable public access Swap Meet/Cookout tentatively scheduled for 24 July from 6:00 – 9:30 at Bellevue Park in Clifton Via email, Chris Magee indicated that a coffee chat was set for July at the home of Jim Kelley/Rick Kay, and is pursuing Jane Misewicz and Guy Wolf to do one at their Anderson home

Brian presented the results of the spring membership survey
Chuck walked through the member buddy application and discussed the membership process
Next meeting scheduled for 08 September at 7:00 Brian Pierson
I do have a couple of things for the agenda for events discussion:
1 - Coffee chat this Saturday in Middletown, hope to see you all there.
2 - From the email I sent to members I didn't receive much response. I have a chat lined up for May & July right now (Jim Kelley & Rick Kay) and that's it. I am pursuing Jane Misewicz and Guy Wolf to do one at their Anderson home, very Eichler house. Also looking to connect with the Clifton Unitarian Church for a tour. If anyone has any leads, please send em my way.
3 - I attended the Atomic Crash Party in Indianapolis this weekend with the organizer of their events, Baz aka Barrett Crites. The house was a lush post and beam mod in white. It has been requested if we would extend the 'Atomic crash party' format to Cincinnati in lieu or addition to coffee chats. Baz from Indy is setting to go nationally with this format to link all the MCM groups across the country connecting them with a common event website he's almost done making. My vote for this would be yes, as there's nothing to lose by connecting with an adjacent city and we're branding nationwide a MCM format. I can offer more later if needed. Check out www.atomicindy.com if you haven't lately.
Hope everyone is doing well. Chris Magee |
