Come see this unique Armco Steel Techbuilt House, designed and built by Armco in 1963 as their answer to modular housing for the masses. Only two of these all steel homes were ever built, this one and one in New York state. Not much is known about this house - why were only two built? Was it too expensive? Too modern for the masses? We may never know.
Current owners Noelle and Curt Sparks rescued this neglected piece of history and have gone over every surface (saving what was good and upgrading what was not) and brought the house back to its modern roots. Under Curt's talented designer's eye, this house has finally realized its potential. Located in a lovely mid century neighborhood in Middletown, it is a study in what could have been for suburban America.
