John and Kay Berno worked with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Legacy Program to construct their FLW-designed residence. Originally created for a Michigan college professor in 1939, the Bernos home is T-shaped with a large deck, balcony, screened porch and a wall of windows and glass doors that allows them views of the adjacent wooded lot. Inside, discover a number of well-considered built-ins.

The house is one of only 14 built from Frank Lloyd Wright's original designs since his death in l959. It is certified by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and Taliesin Architects as an authentic work derived from the original Frank Lloyd Wright design.
